Elizabeth Bassett (Liz)

Liz was iborn in 1954 in the small rural community of Pongaroa in the Tararua district of New Zealand.

One of five children, she was educated at Queens Park School in Whanganui, followed by two years at Kelburn Normal School and four years at Wellington Girls College in Wellington.

Her love and passion for working with children started when her first child, James, was born, followed by Scott, Leah and Gemma. In 1975 Elizabeth began her training to become an Early Childhood Educator.

She has been working with children for more than 40 years.
